The user is using Office 365 running in cached mode, anything over a year old is moved to his Archive folder (.PST). You might try renaming the pst and having future items go to a new pst. Have the original available to the user through an archive folder. Sorry, I forgot to mention I’ve ran a full and quick repair but hasn’t fixed the issue.
